Abu Garcia, a titan of the outdoor fishing industry dominated the Malaysian Market for years, until changes in the market landscape shifted the power balance. The Atelier was onboarded to rebuild brand affinity and social-proof the brand to increase Abu Garcia’s SOV and market share.

With an overarching concept of “Show, not tell”, this end-to-end marketing and communication strategy involved creating localized content for knowledge sharing, onboarding local KOLs to spur market excitement and an increased focus on community building.
Result
Over the first quarter, we deliver outstanding results while utilizing only 45% of the allocated budget, driving not just the share of voice metrices like impressions and engagement, but also driving the growth of e-commerce through retargeting ads.
